Each guest will receive a freshly baked 4-inch heart-shaped vanilla sponge, filled with delicious vanilla buttercream, ready to be transformed into a beautiful vintage masterpiece. You'll begin by choosing your own colour palette before tinting freshly made, light and fluffy Swiss meringue buttercream to create a cake that's uniquely yours.

Using professional cake decorating tools, we'll guide you step-by-step through covering your cake with a smooth finish before showing you how to achieve the signature scalloped edging that gives vintage cakes their timeless charm.

Next, it's time to master the art of piping! Using our bespoke piping practice sheets, you'll learn how to pipe elegant shells, delicate scrolls, romantic rosettes and beautiful leaves before bringing all of your new skills together to decorate your cake. To finish, we'll add luxurious pearl sprinkles for that perfect vintage touch.

As a little extra, you'll also take home our tried-and-tested recipe cards for both our soft vanilla sponge and our light, silky Swiss meringue buttercream, so you can recreate your beautiful cake again and again at home.
